Sullivan’s Debut
Giant Pumpkin Patch At The Farm
After finishing the enormous corn maze at The Farm last weekend in Snohomish, we headed for the pumpkin patch. The main patch was near all the major activities and was also very crowed. So I asked around and found a huge patch behind the maze full of pumpkins and hardly any people. We spent quite awhile out there searching for the perfect pumpkins to take home. I wanted to get a variety of shapes, sizes and colors. We ended up with a wheelbarrow full of pumpkins and paid just over $20! Be sure to bring a pocket knife, because the pumpkins are still on the vine!
Can’t Feel My Face
Here’s Kurt after his faceplant while wakeboarding on Long Lake near Port Orchard, Washington. Can you feel the pain?
Seconds From Disaster
Kurt and his friend Neal went wakeboarding on Long Lake near Port Orchard, Washington. I rode along in Neal’s boat to get some photos of the two. Kurt was kind enough to show me how to properly perform a face plant!
Kurt Versus The Bremerton Raceway
I went down to the Bremerton Raceway to check Kurt and his Scirocco out at the Autocross event. I was hoping to get some action shots of him on the track, but I got there just in time to help push his car off the track. He was able to race a few times before I got there, but he had some issues before one of his last runs. I didn’t mind. I was still able to get some action shots of him, his Scirocco, and the tow truck!
Picking Blueberries At Winney’s Farm

After saying goodbye to Bockes, we spent the night at my mother’s place. The next day we wanted to relax and do something other than packing! It was about this time last year that we went to Winney’s Farm, so we decided to go there.

We spent a couple of hours out there in the warm sun. We ended up getting a little over 10 pounds of blueberries for just about $17! Later that night, my mother made some delicious homemade blueberry sauce which we poured over some Stewart’s Vanilla Bean ice cream. Tasty!

Goodbye Bockes!

After a hectic week, we are finally moved out of our home on Bockes Road. All our belongings are on a truck headed for Washington state.
Dan and Joyce Moyle from Lile Moving Services are driving it there. They’re a husband and wife team; Dan works year round, and Joyce joins him on the road during the summer. After having a bad experience with another moving company, it was a pleasant surprise having such a wonderful couple personally delivering our property.

My Simpsons Avatar

Here I am hanging out with Homer Simpson at Moe’s Tavern! It almost looks like 9 Maple Ave in Saratoga Springs with the big mirror, the register, and the shelves off to the side.
I created it here at The Simpsons Movie website. They let you choose the gender, body type, eyes, eye brows, nose, mouth, hair, t-shirt emblem, and of course the colors of everything. Once created, the site lets you save it or email it. I find emailing it to yourself is the best option. This way allows you to pick a background before you send it. They only have one available when I made mine, but it looks like there will be a few more soon.
There is also another site called Simpsonize Me where you can upload a photo and it will automatically create an avatar for you, but that didn’t work very well. I kept getting a lot of errors. I think it had something to do with the Digg Effect. Ever since that link made it to the front page of Digg, it seemed to get really slow and full of errors. I’m sure when the traffic slows down, it will get better.
If you create an avatar, send me a copy or a link to it!
